Well, MUN is all about diplomacy—and, in many ways, exactly this.

A few words about me:

I am currently in my final year of high school and an International Baccalaureate student studying Economics, History, and English Literature. I am the President of the Kőrösi MUN Club and the Director General and main organizer of this conference, alongside Emma Rákóczi, our beloved Secretary-General.

I believe that MUN conferences are both horrible and wonderful at the same time. They can be stressful, exhausting, and occasionally frustrating, but they have also given me some of the best experiences of my life. Through MUN, I have learned invaluable skills, including communication, diplomacy, public speaking, and academic English. Most importantly, I have made incredible international friendships that I know will last for years.

If you have the opportunity to participate in an MUN conference, consider yourself lucky—and make the most of it. It is much more than just a good excuse to travel on your school's budget or another achievement to add to your university applications. It is an amazing opportunity to challenge yourself, broaden your perspective, and grow both as a student and as a person.
